Partner Patrick T. Jones has been a trial lawyer since 1978 and works on substantial personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Throughout his career, Pat has tried medical malpractice, product liability, construction site, eminent domain, and general liability tort cases. Pat is licensed to practice law in the federal and state courts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Since 1983, he has maintained an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell National Law Directory, the highest rating available for legal ability and ethical standards. Since 2004, Boston Magazine surveys of Massachusetts Bar Members have rated Pat as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Massachusetts, and he has been rated as one of the Top 10 Super Lawyers in Massachusetts beginning in 2011. Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly selected Pat as one of its \"Lawyers of the Year\" in 2005 and 2019, and in 2023 he was inducted into its Hall of Fame. In 2019, Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly honored Pat with the Excellence in the Law Hall of Fame Award. Pat is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is a Fellow of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation and is a Senior Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Since 2015, Pat has been included on Lawdragon\'s list of the 500 Leading Lawyers in America.The publication “Best Lawyers in America” named Pat Lawyer of the Year, Personal Injury Litigation Plaintiffs, 2015 - Boston, Lawyer of the Year, Medical Malpractice Law Plaintiffs, 2016 - Boston, Lawyer of the Year, Personal Injury Litigation Plaintiffs, 2017 - Boston, and Lawyer of the Year, Medical Malpractice Law Plaintiffs, 2018 - Boston. Pat is a Past President of both the Rhode Island Association for Justice (RIAJ) and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA). He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
