About Patrick Synor
I have had a very strong passion for technology all of my life. This started when I was very young, but as I grew older Information Technology evolved into a career path. I am passionate about technology, and I take my work very personally for this reason. I have always had personal technology projects to keep me busy outside of the office which include consulting, new ventures, research, and as always help for family and friends. A geek at heart, I tend to spend the little bit of free time experimenting and researching new technologies and concepts. I started my professional IT career in systems and server support for a small automotive OEM, but I have since achieved my lifetime goal of establishing a career as an IT professional supporting a technology oriented business. It has long been my belief that IT is a cost center in organizations where IT is not part of their core business. My recent roles have provided opportunities where I can directly contribute to the organization\'s business, and this has allowed me to see the results of my work in places other than my own team. Recently, my focus has been on Web Hosting, and cloud architecture. I love new challenges, new friends, and new opportunities!
