About Patrick Shen

As a recent graduate of Emory University with a BS in Chemistry, I have a strong foundation in scientific and analytical thinking. I am currently working as a System Implementation Project Manager at Epic, a leading software company in the healthcare industry. I manage the overall system configuration and installation of the Emergency Department and Urgent Care applications across multiple clients, leading a large cross-functional team and delivering product presentations, requirements gathering, workflow optimization, and data analysis. In my previous roles, I gained valuable experience in clinical data analysis, quality improvement, and documentation. As a Clinical Associate Intern at Rendr, I analyzed clinical data from EMR system to identify gaps related to HEDIS Clinical Quality measures and worked across a large functional team to implement quality improvement programs. As an Emergency Department Scribe Ambassador at ScribeAmerica, I captured information at Point of Care and identified patients for specialized care through Cerner, working 1:1 with a physician and training onboarding scribes. I am passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and enhancing patient experience through innovative and user-friendly solutions. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I am fluent in Chinese and English, and have received multiple honors and certifications, such as the Early Career Achievement Research Grant and the Mental Health First Aid USA certification.
