About Patrick Riley

I am a student at the University of Tampa pursuing a B.S. in Accounting. I have hands-on experience in both tax and audit through accounting internships.Currently I am a tax intern at J Larsen & Associates, where I prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and business entities, I assist in processing and creating 1099-MISC\'s and 1099-NEC\'s with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. I also assist with tax notices and apply auditing and quality control standards across client engagements.I am an incoming Summer Audit Intern at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), where I will be supporting audit teams with risk assessments, internal control testing, and workpaper preparation in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.Additionally, I serve as a VITA Volunteer Tax Preparer, where I help low-to-moderate income individuals file tax returns and ensure families that they are receiving important tax credits.
