About Patrick McKelvey
I am a third-year Juris Doctor candidate at St. John\'s University School of Law and the Editor-in-Chief of the St. John\'s Law Review. Please email p••••••••@gmail.com with any inquiries. At the University of Notre Dame, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Classics where I used both research methods and critical theory to examine, critique, and analyze American society, and to compare and contrast it with the cultures of classical antiquity. My studies culminated in my writing of a thesis entitled \"La Cosa Nostra: The Evolution of Cultural Influence and Media Portrayals of the Italian-American Mafia.\" It examines the history of organized crime, films, and books to chart the evolving perceptions of Italian-Americans and criminal organizations over the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. I have a lifelong passion for writing and storytelling, and am looking forward to applying these skills to my legal career.
