Responsible for leading a diverse team of not-for-profit advisors who are focused on studying natural and built environments to understand ecological processes, sustainable design, and human interactions with landscapes. Our research explores topics such as climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, land-use planning, landscape construction materials, and installation techniques, and emerging technologies. Our educational programs train practitioners and students in urban planning, landscape architecture, and environmental and material science, inspired by our diverse range of research and decades of experience. By integrating scientific analysis with design principles, our landscape research and education aims to inform policies and practices that promote resilient ecosystems, sustainable communities, and aesthetically enriching spaces.
