   At present I am counsel to a large financial organization’s Privacy Office. I provide legal advice on all matters of privacy policy, program management, incident response, project development, and data subject access response. During my time, I have initiated several projects to mature and improve the functioning of the team, including integrating the privacy project intake into the vendor management process and technology development. I have been the contact person on several regulatory notifications of vendor cyber incidents. Finally, I analyzed, socialized, and operationalized the CPRA into the privacy program and business functions of the company. Garnered relationships with business and technology to implement privacy by design, resolve problems, and ensure compliance with relevant laws. Resolved issues and provided risk-based guidance to aid development of biometric-enabled customer service tool. Drafted data protection impact assessments that complied with laws of relevant jurisdictions and proposed risk mitigation steps to incorporate data protection principles into the project. Negotiated data protection and other agreements with other attorneys to ensure protections and compliance with data protection laws. Advised cross-functional privacy team, including technology, operations, information security, and policy. Developed internal procedures to track state, federal, and international laws and to work across the enterprise to incorporate changes and integrate compliance, including CPRA, GDPR, and GLBA. Developed privacy notices, internal policies, and data subject rights procedures to mature privacy program.
