About Patrick Jean Francois
Student in Business Administration at BYU Idaho Online.5 years ago I have worked as a Drywaller and a framer for Haiti Sheetrock, We were working on the construction of the Haiti Mormon temple. Unfortunately I have been fired with 8 coworkers since we weren’t directly hired. Fortunately My skills, perseverance, honesty, devotion and adaptability allowed me to be hired by the general contractor, Houghton Plaster inc, I have been chosen by the president and CEO of the company. I was able to develop other skills related to the construction industry. My former employer saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself, so he gave me the opportunity to learn and develop myself, he moved all barriers that could stopped my progression. I was surprised to discover my skills in operating heavy machinery such forklifts, trucks, JLG lifts and bobcats.As a carpenter, I worked on various projects related to building and installing structures made of wood, such as walls, floors, roofs, and decks. I also gained experience in using power tools, measuring and cutting materials, and reading blueprints and schematics.As the CEO of Haiti Drywall Construction and Haitian Drywallers, I am responsible for the overall management and direction of the company. This likely included tasks such as developing business strategies, managing finances and budgets, hiring and training employees, and overseeing projects. My experiences as a drywaller, framer, carpenter, heavy machinery operator and especially the chance that I had to work for my former employer provided me a valuable insights and knowledge that I apply to my leadership role.
