ABOUT PATRICK HAZARI
Patrick Hazari is the Senior Director of Planning, Design & Construction at Friends of the High Line, a non-profit organization responsible for the preservation of the High Line. The High Line is a once industrial ruin that has been transformed into a beloved public space on the west side of New York City. Professionally, Patrick has practiced with Weiss/Manfredi and SOM in New York. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design and is a licensed architect in the state of New York. He was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Medal and Certificate in recognition of academic excellence at the completion of his degree in 2005. Patrick’s work has been published in 30••••10: Decoration (Princeton Architectural Press, 2006), and he has been an invited critic at the University of Tennessee, PennDesign, and Roger Williams University. Patrick was a long-term member of the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design Dean’s Advocacy Board.
