ABOUT PATRICK GUTHRIE

Patrick brings over two decades of experience in business valuation, financial modeling, strategic forecasting, having successfully led valuation services for a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Patrick’s extensive background includes valuation of businesses for tax planning, financial reporting, and business planning. With a decade-long leadership role at a global public accounting firm, he has gained extensive experience in financial reporting (business combinations, goodwill impairments, complex equity allocations, private equity portfolio investments) as well as valuation services for tax planning (gift and estate, pre-sale planning, and management incentive units). He has served as the lead valuation professional on several hundred business appraisals being known for being responsive to clients and their advisors and providing high-quality defensible appraisals. Unique to the mid-Atlantic, Patrick frequently works with companies in government contracting, cybersecurity, information technology, early-stage enterprises, distribution and manufacturing, and real estate holding companies. He is an active member of the local Estate Planning Councils. Furthermore, Patrick is committed to the ethics and integrity standards of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
