Informed the portfolio managers ahead of all major credit migrations, which included Credit Suisse’s downgrade to and eventual failure, rotation from regional banks during the stress of 2023, etc…Built turnkey Excel models utilizing the CapIQ Pro add-in to model bank credit quality and important information such as consensus estimates. Assist in writing macro research for the firm via our quarterly Credit Market Update publication, which uses a large data set of market and economic metrics to draw conclusions about the health of the US credit market.Travel the country giving presentations to local government finance professionals for CPE credits and assisting our sales staff in prospecting. Chairman of the Credit Committee, organizing and facilitating discussions and votes about issuers, as well as taking minutes to ensure they are well organized for compliance and regulators. Responsible for the reorganization of the Credit Team into a system that would ensure better analysts for Portfolio Management to recruit from and a smoother, more resilient hiring process for new analysts.
