ABOUT PATRICK DESROSIERS

At TD Asset Management, helping clients achieve their investment goals is at the center of everything that we do. You can also visit us online at I joined TD Asset Management Inc.(TDAM) in September 2014. My primary responsibility is for the quality of the overall client service relationship. I maintain ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that TDAM fully understands their current and evolving needs and takes a proactive approach to provide investment solutions and operational excellence. In addition, I play the role of Asset Liability Management (ALM) Actuarial Issue Leader at TDAM. In this role, I act as an internal expert on actuarial and pension legislation matters and works with our ALM team to design cost and risk mitigation strategies for a broad range of pension plans. Prior to joining TDAM, I worked as the National Practice Leader of the Financial Risk Consulting group at a consulting firm. I was leading a team responsible for asset-liability studies, defined benefit and defined contribution plans portfolio optimization, de-risking strategies, liability driven investing and derivative solutions. I have a Bachelor in Actuarial Sciences from Laval University. I am a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
