ABOUT PATRICK DAWKINS
I have 15 years\' professional experience as a software developer, working with a wide range of web technologies. In 2014 I joined Upsun (then Platform.sh), where I help to design, create and maintain the backend systems and APIs that power the product: a cloud application and developer platform. I mainly work with Go and also have significant experience in PHP, Python and JavaScript. I am in my element in web development, systems design, testing, collaboration and technical leadership, with strong interests in UX, DX, and security.I am also a freelance violinist, mostly a chamber musician (in the Ligeti Quartet since 2010), but I also have plenty of orchestral and session experience.
