WORK HISTORY
Facility Operations Manager @O&G Industries, Inc.
Waterbury, CT, US
I serve as the connection point between Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance — helping the business stay aligned on what customers need, what vendors can deliver, and how we manage inventory in between. One of my biggest contributions has been building a custom demand forecasting and material planning system using Google Sheets and Apps Script. It gives teams real-time insight across multiple product lines and helps us make smarter, faster decisions.I also lead our S & OP planning efforts, using data from sales trends, open orders, and vendor capacity to prevent overages and stockouts.During our transition to the ERPLY ERP system, I played a key role in redesigning workflows and bringing more automation and visibility to our operations.I’ve created and rolled out training materials to help Sales and Purchasing stay aligned, and I launched a vendor performance tracking system to improve reliability and reduce lead time variability. On a weekly basis, I lead planning reviews with Sales and Purchasing to make sure we’re adjusting quickly to market shifts and customer needs.

ABOUT PATRICK L.
I manage one location but operate across a much larger footprint - a seven-branch mason supply network, quarry operations, a fabrication center, an asphalt plant, and a building division. Over ten years inside that organization I\'ve done something that keeps surprising people: I built the systems it runs on, and nobody asked me to. A procurement tool that compressed a 3-5 day ordering cycle into 15 minutes. A full ERP built from scratch for a subsidiary running on carbon copy paper. A routing matrix covering 160 Connecticut towns. A release tracking system that has handled $850K+ in direct-ship projects with zero unreconciled deliveries. None of these were in my job description. My instinct when I find a broken process is not to work around it. It\'s to understand exactly why it\'s broken and build something that eliminates it permanently.
