Patrick is an experienced audit partner who currently supports the development of PwC’s global Next Generation Audit technology platform, the largest audit transformation initiative ever undertaken by the Firm. Patrick’s primary role is leveraging his 37+ years of audit experience to provide technical insights and practical experience on matters related to global audit methodology and audit quality as PwC reimagines the delivery of high-quality audit services with next generation technology to transform the way a PwC audit is delivered and experienced by our people and clients. Previously, Patrick was a partner within PwC’s National Office, within the Trust Solutions segment, and served as the US Leader of PwC’s Chief Auditor Network. The Chief Auditor Network comprises partners and professionals distributed in offices across the US who are focused on supporting audit quality by providing advice on auditing matters through regular engagement with our partners and their teams. The Chief Auditor Network supports teams design effective and efficient audit approaches, helps reinforce/implement key learning points from audit training and guidance across the practice and provides assistance/advice to teams undergoing inspections. Through these activities, the Chief Auditor Network provides Firm leaders with insights on overall audit quality trends. Prior to and throughout his role in PwC’s National Office, Patrick was a client service partner for over 25 years (37+ years total) serving as the lead engagement partner for large global companies across the Entertainment/Media, Technology and For-Profit Education industries serving clients across the US. He also held leadership responsibilities for PwC’s Technology and Entertainment/Media practices in the Washington DC Metro market for several years. Patrick also serves as PwC’s relationship partner for the Trust Solutions segment at his alma mater, Penn State University and remains active with PwC’s recruiting efforts on and off campus. He enjoys providing career advice to students and has established an endowed scholarship to provide financial support for a Penn State student-athlete who is enrolled in the Smeal College of Business.
