In the summer of 2008, after 10 months backpacking countries circling the Pacific with my wife, I founded Mindmaven. Mindmaven\'s mission is simple: Empowering people to live happier, more fulfilling lives through more meaningful relationships and a deep sense of belonging, because relationships are the #1 driver of happiness. But it\'s not just about happiness: Relationships also drive performance. After all: No matter what your goal is, no matter where you want to go, one thing is true. You won\'t get there without help from others. Almost everyone who works with us has a deep-rooted, authentic desire to do good in the world; to make an impact, and leave a legacy. That often comes with massive, audacious goals. And we at Mindmaven believe that the only way to achieve those goals is to master the superpower of Fellowship, which is essentially the ability to get people to join, follow, and support you through hell and back. How do we teach that? By overcoming the Urgent vs Important challenge: First we free 20-25% of your time that you\'re currently spending on things you don\'t need to, and helping you be intentional with how you allocate your time to proactively focus on those things that move the needle most. Over the years, our clients kept saying they felt like we gave them superpowers, and we\'ve embraced that. We unleash superpowers, enabling our clients to achieve their greatness without the insane levels of sacrifice on those relationships we care about most. In summary: Be wildly successful while still living a life filled with meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. The most rewarding part of my work is when I see the ripple effect: As my clients embrace Fellowship, they become the types of leaders people admire, rave about, and emulate. As a result, my work touches the lives of not just my clients, but also the thousands of people they lead and influence.
