In 1964, Patrick took a summer job working as a plumber’s helper in the Northwest Territories, loved what he did, and never looked back. After the first year, he moved into the Industrial Sector with Canadian Comstock completing his apprenticeship and moved into their office as a Mechanical Estimator under Stan Bear. He went on to work for CF Braun, Canadian Bectel, and Fluor Canada. In 1978 Patrick was hired by Catalytic Enterprises as Supervisor to start up the Syncrude Plant. He was promoted to Superintendent of Maintenance on the plant until 1983; when he took 1½ yrs off work to receive his high school diploma and business administration education. He then moved to Kelowna in 1984 and started Rambow Mechanical Ltd. in January of 1985.

ABOUT PATRICK WAUNCH
Patrick is the President and CEO of Rambow Mechanical Ltd. He completed his first year of Business Administration at Keyano College in Fort McMurray and holds Red Seal trade tickets in Plumbing (Alberta and BC) and Steam Fitting (Alberta and BC), First Class Gas Fitting, Hydro-pulse Boilers, and IGSHPA (Installation for Ground Source Heating) tickets. He holds Gold Seal Certification in Project Management and Superintendent. Patrick has been the Chairman of the Southern Interior Construction Association and Chairman of the British Columbia Construction Association for the past two years. He is now Chairman of the Public Advisory Committee to the Okanagan College and is also Chairman of the Trade Contractors Council for the Canadian Construction Association. Patrick\'s company is very strong in Design-Build and believes in surrounding himself with the best expertise in the Construction Industry. Patrick is also a strong supporter of the Apprenticeship Program.
