ABOUT PATRICK TRUESON

I am a results-oriented sales leader with a proven track record of driving profitable sales and have extensive sales management experience in global semiconductor companies. It is a great privilege to be a team leader in a multicultural environment and to contribute to the results of cross-functional teams. During my 17 years as a professional hockey national league player, I learned to never give up and that anything is possible in a team. After graduating, I started my career in product marketing at Rohm Electronics. I had the privilege to work and learn in a great marketing team and got deep insights into the Japanese culture. I became very interested in LEDs and moved to Avago 6 years later as a Product Manager for LEDs. Interacting with the business unit in Malaysia and working closely with very experienced senior sales managers in Europe were other important experiences and insights. After 4 years, I switched to sales and became Regional Sales Manager at Cree. Initially as an individual contributor and after 4.5 years I became a manager with team responsibilities. Being part of the team at Cree that was driving the LED lighting revolution is an unforgettable experience. In my current role as Regional Sales Director North, West, South-Europe at Wolfspeed, I lead a sales team responsible for growing the SiC Power industrial business in UK, Nordics, France, Italy and Iberia.
