Patrick has over 16 years of commercial experience in the energy industry (both on the buy and sell side). He has successfully negotiated and closed over 6.5 GW of Power Purchase Agreements in markets globally that enable the delivery of new clean energy. Patrick was the lead negotiator and deal champion for the recently executed nuclear transaction that will restart the 835 MW Crane Clean Energy Center in PJM, as well as the world\'s first fusion energy PPA signed in 2023. He has a depth knowledge in energy markets globally, including electricity market design, regulated tariff structures, and direct operating experience with conventional and renewable technologies. This unique knowledge set allows him to effectively model and allocate risk between commercial counterparties, resulting in viable long-term partnerships. He has developed bespoke structured commercial agreements that meet sustainability commitments, by delivering carbon-free energy and mitigating risk.He is a highly motivated, effective communicator and leader who can quickly build collaborative working relationships. He has a track record of building and leading high performing teams that deliver new capabilities, and a competitive advantage for the organization.
