As Head of Corporate Property@ Munich Re F&C (Facultative & Corporate), I am leading a team of international Underwriters for the large Corporate and industrial segment. Our clients and insureds are headquartered in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. As distribution channels we are serving Captives, In-house brokers, the retail market throughout Europe and the wholesale market in London and Zurich. The product offering ranges from All Risk, Cat Stand-alone, parametrics and risk financing schemes. Reporting into F&C‘s Property CUO, the team and I frequently get involved and drive regional and global Underwriting and strategy projects. By defining risk appetites, frameworks and the setting of steering impulses, we (a) ensure the portfolio’s sustainability and profitability for the countries falling under my responsibility and (b) also provide consistency for our clients.As a Sponsor of F&C‘s global practice Group Automotive we ensure technical and commercial standards while offering best-in class services for this industry.
