ABOUT PATRICK STAERKE
I am passionate about the transformative power of international higher education and intercultural exchange. With over 15 years of experience in international higher education and research, I have been Associate Director of the Stanford University in Berlin Center since September 2025. The center conducts study abroad and internship programs for Stanford students, and I am excited to contribute to its mission. Throughout my career, I have led international and digital learning initiatives, managed study abroad and research programs, guided teams, and overseen both strategic planning and operational execution. I have also built and nurtured partnerships across institutions worldwide. As a lifelong learner, I thrive at the intersection of education, collaboration, and innovation.
