Recently I was promoted into the Senior Product Director role for Komatsu\'s Electric Mining Shovel products. This encompasses leadership of the engineering, product management, and marketing functions for the electric mining shovels. In this time of great focus on sustainability and electric vehicle design there are many exciting opportunities for this product line.In my previous role, I had responsibility for strategy development and deployment as well as product management oversight for Komatsu\'s electric drive haul trucks (EDT). EDT\'s encompass not only the existing product portfolio but also the power generation platforms of the future. This was an extremely exciting time for the product and for the industry as a whole as we work to align product performance with appropriate corporate and societal expectations surrounding sustainability.In my previous role I had responsibility for the due diligence, planning, and disposition of Komatsu’s National Avenue headquarters as we transitioned to our new campus in a different part of Milwaukee. I gained exposure to various aspects of real estate market analysis, stakeholder engagement, as well as classic project management areas. In my other previous role(s) I worked with a team of dedicated professionals to find breakthrough methods to decrease production cost per ton for different types of mining operations. Specifically, I was responsible for making sure P&H Shovels achievd customer expectations. Prior to entering the corporate world I was an aviator in the United States Navy.My military experience involved different types of technical training in 3 different aircraft as well as training courses in tactical proficiency. I developed excellent team building skills through flying a multi-crew aircraft.
