ABOUT PATRICK SIHOTA
With over six years of experience in airport operations and management, I am a passionate and enthusiastic assistant airport manager at the Township of Langley. I oversee the daily operations of the Langley Regional Airport, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. I also support the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and projects to enhance the airport\'s performance and growth. In my previous roles, I worked with Vantage Airport Group and Dawson Creek Regional Airport as a coordinator and Airport General Manager, respectively, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge in all aspects of airport operations: SMS, winter operations, airfield maintenance, wildlife management, emergency response planning, QA auditing, regulatory compliance, as well as the business and strategic intiatives: stakeholder engagement, budgeting, forecasting, air service development and most importantly team leadership. I hold an airport operations diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and I am always eager to learn new things and improve my skills. I am committed to delivering excellence in airport management, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, and contributing to pushing the bar further each and everyday.
