Data & Analytics Enablement, Master Data Governance and Inventory Strategy Buy Channel Strategy Framework: deployed the inventory team to assess procurement patterns across consumables, VMI, PPE and O&M repeat buys and critical/capital spares and to develop a comprehensive matrix across item type demand and their applicable buy channels, spanning over $500M in addressable spend Inventory-Vendor Spend Analysis: led the inventory team to develop an enterprise-wide framework targeting on-contract spend (managed) vs. off-contract spend (leakage) and to apply corrective actions to mitigate tail spend (and increase spend under management/spend leverage) for identical items ordered from multiple vendors, specifically those not mapped to a current agreement/contract (exposure/liability reduction) Price File Framework: Led the inventory team to define the process and methodology for managing commercial commitments uploaded into Maximo; specifically management of all mandatory data attributes, cleansing fragmented legacy item/vendor data, updating vendors’ suite of active items (concurrently removing obsolete/superseded items) and improving forecasting accuracy by incorporating definitive lead-time by item Inventory Reduction Strategy: led a cross-functional team in the development and deployment of inventory reduction and continuous improvement strategies against proliferation of obsolete, excess and slow-moving inventory, spanning ~300K unique items and targeting ~$70M in addressable disposition value Master Data Management: led the inventory team in developing processes and implementing workflow stop-checks to ensure mandatory fields in the item creation process are populated with accurate information to bolster data integrity and to ensure newly created items aren’t duplicating existing ones, resulting in decreased (avoidable) inventory costs and improved item turnaround times to support business requirements
