ABOUT PATRICK SEIDEL
After I successfully played for the youth teams of Brose Bamberg (U16 3. German Champion, NIJT Belgrade), I became a semi-peo for Basket College Rhein-Neckar. After a knee injury at a young age I started my coaching career. From 2013 to 2015 I signed with DJK Brose Bamberg as the Professional Youth Coordinator and head of player development. This included the HC position of Team Oberfranken which participated in the WNBL (highest U17 league in Germany), the HC position of the Upper Franconia selection team and the 3rd league women team. I was responsible for the whole youth of the first league club. By the way I was named the AC of the Bavarian selection team. From 2015 to 2017 I signed with the Eisbären Bremerhaven (1st league Germany) to coach the u14m, u16m, u18m and the JBBL (highest u16m youth league in Germany). I was responsible for the individual development of the youth players and all organizational things off the court. For the 2017/18 season I coached for the Rockets Erfurt/Gotha. U12m, JBBL AC and 5th men\'s league HC. Also, I was responsible for the development of the whole concept u16 and younger which included the school program and marketing. From 2019 to 2022 I worked as the youth sports director for BBC Bayreuth, the youth of 1st league team Medi Bayreuth. I was responsible for the players´ and coaches’ development and the organization of the program. Since the summer of 2022 I´m a fulltime youth coordinator and Coach as a part of the Brose Bamberg and BBC Coburg youth program which includes coaching: AC of the ProB (3 rd league) and HC of the 1. Regionalliga (4th league) and the organization. As you can see, I possess the right combination of basketball knowledge and good interpersonal skills. Also, I know how to run an organization. I love to work with players who want to develop their skills and hope to get a chance to show you my passion for the game. The individual player development is my biggest strength.
