Global hardline retailer supporting active duty military, reservists, retirees and their families. Manages 100 Navy Exchange facilities, 300 stores, employees and generates sales of $2.5 billion. Operates as a Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) business, meaning it is self-supporting with all residual profits returning to the Navy. Manage distribution operations globally. Direct responsibility for 7 DC’s supporting Midwestern US, Europe, North Africa, Persian Gulf and Pacific / West Pacific. 7 General Managers, 14 Managers and 500 Hourly. Indirect responsibility for operational improvement in 3 US DC’s. Responsibilities include Customer Pickup, Home Delivery and Store Replenishment operations. Fulfillment spans a product assortment that includes hardline, softline, alcohol, food, beverage and furniture. Manage shipments via private fleet, contract carrier and container shipper. Develops and administers network budget of $56 million. Report to Vice President Logistics.
