   May 1990 — Present

   Lead attorney responsible for investigation and prosecution of complex, interstate and international narcotics and money laundering cases in the Northern District of Iowa. Lead attorney in hundreds of prosecutions of complex criminal cases, including drug, money laundering, tax and firearms violations. Wrote well over 100 appellate briefs for submission to the Court of Appeals and if needed argued those cases before the Court. Litigated numerous civil forfeiture and habeas corpus actions. Advised federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in developing investigations and extensively utilized complex investigative techniques, including financial investigations, wiretaps, tracking devices, and electronic search warrants. Seizures in one of my cases resulted in over $6.2 million forfeited from drug traffickers.
