Most early-stage founders don\'t have a technical co-founder. They have a developer they brief, or an agency they hired, or a CTO they can\'t yet afford. None of those things is quite what they need.What they usually need is someone who\'ll get close enough to the problem to actually understand it. Who\'ll ask the uncomfortable questions before writing a line of code. Who cares about whether the thing gets built right, not just whether it gets built.That\'s what I do.I\'m a software engineer working independently through Makewise. I\'ve spent five years building across health tech, climate tech, and early-stage startups, including as first technical hire at an Oxford startup where I took us from blank page to funded MVP. I go deep, I stay close, and I care about the problem.I work with a small number of founders at a time - helping them figure out what to build, shaping technical strategy, and building it when it needs building. I\'m drawn to founders working on things that actually matter. Health, climate, community, social enterprise.
