Practices setting an example of servant leadership throughout the industry. I was born in Springfield, MO. in 1971. Shortly after, my family moved to Marionville, MO. and eventually to Mount Vernon, MO, where I began school. I am the second child of six. Throughout High School in Mount Vernon I was active in sports and student government. I was elected class president throughout junior high and high school. I was selected as team captain of my football and basketball teams, as well as MVP of the baseball team. While at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois I played both football and baseball. I was chosen as team captain my senior year for our football team. Summers consisted of working hauling hay, life guarding, and stacking rolls of sod for Spring River Turf Farm. I also worked on and off campus throughout my time at North Central College.After college graduation (1993) I returned to Mount Vernon. I worked for the Mount Vernon School District. I married Jessicca June 18th, 1994 and moved to Joplin MO. I interviewed with Ozark Electric in 1994 for the position of night dispatcher. I was hired and we moved to Mount Vernon. While at Ozark I have advanced through promotion to Operations Clerk, Staking Engineer, Legislative Liaison, Division Manager of Member Services and currently General Manager/CEO.Jessicca and I have three children. I have been blessed with many achievements and awards throughout my life but nothing is more rewarding or significant than the opportunity to be a husband and father. I try to surround myself with amazing friends that help motivate me to live a life that honors them, God and my family.I lead in my church and have held the position of Elder since 2006. I preach and speak publicly on many occasions. I participate in local and international Missions work. I stay active in my local community and throughout the industry I work for. I look for and pursue challenges…I have all my life.

   Supervise and coordinate, under board direction, the business activities of the co-op by managing the people, capital, and physical resources. Hire, train, supervise, and set compensation for employees. The manager also needs to review their performance and train, reassign, or replace those employees not meeting acceptable performance levels. Oversee the detailed operations of the cooperative, within policies established by the board of directors, such as purchasing inventory and selling commodities, maintaining the general appearance of the co-op, and making sure employees respond to member needs. Maintain, and revise as necessary, an adequate bookkeeping and accounting system; develop for board approval a financial budget annually; prepare proper financial reports regularly for board review; and present a report of the cooperative\'s operational highlights to the membership at the annual meeting. Furnish information needed for long-range planning. This will bring matters, such as fixed asset additions or revisions, to the board\'s attention for review. Represent the cooperative and portray a positive image to members and others in the community. Encourage membership and active patronage. Communicate developments at the cooperative to members. Keep current on local, State, and Federal legislative and regulatory developments affecting cooperatives.
