ABOUT PATRICK OCALLAGHAN
I worked for nearly two years in the sales and marketing sector within the Cannabis industry. Throughout my time at Springbig, I developed multiple automation systems to relieve mundane tasks that our sales representatives were facing. Including an AI automation system for following up after initial cold calls. The Outreach based system was extremely personalized to the prospects, while respecting sales representatives time. Providing a scalable, cost effective system that actually closed deals on its\' own and propelled our sales pipeline to break records for monthly, weekly and daily demonstration bookings. One of my favorite things to do is to work smarter. I am always finding ways to streamline and maximize the efficiency of not only myself, but those around me. After presenting these systems to the sales team, they became standard practice moving forward. I was promoted to marketing manager in North America after only 8 months in sales in November 2021. Next began the journey to modernizing our approach to outbound email interaction, SEO optimized blog writing and hosted video webinars. I won awards for publicly speaking on panels regarding the restrictiveness in Cannabis marketing in both NYC at the White Label Exposition and Toronto at O\'Cannabiz with other industry giants and veterans. Early in 2022, I tripled our inbound webinar lead generation and shifted to more web-based digital marketing initiatives. Currently I am an independant consultant working across multiple industries to increase BI initiatives while bolstering employee efficiency and retention. Outreach administrator, 3/4 of a Salesforce Administrator, an SEO masterclass holder and am proficient at copywriting automation with SEO optimization. My next project is to automate video production and editing to bolster marketing and graphic design efficiency for my own company.
