About Patrick Mullin

My name is Patrick Mullin and I work as the analyst for the refined products - marketing book. My primary roles are to accurately report exposure across physical and financial positions as well as to report the profit and loss associated with those positions. I am also responsible for understanding the positions, the risk associated with the positions, how the traders hedge, and entering the physical positions into SRA. Previously I worked at Musket Corp. as an analyst on the Crude and NGL books. I graduated from Ohio University in the spring of 2022 with degrees in finance and data analytics. I was the President of the Derivatives Management Group where we managed three separate portfolios of currency, commodity, and high-yield fixed income derivatives for two years. We used futures, forwards, and swaps, in these portfolios. I have learned a lot from both a technical and professional standpoint while I was in DMG. I have learned how to be a better leader, how to be a better public speaker, and the value of goal setting. These are just a few of the skills and lessons that I have learned. These experiences showcase my values of commitment, leadership, passion, and drive. I am always looking for new ways to expand my knowledge.
