In this position my responsibilities are to create testing procedures in order to enable us to gain a deeper understanding of our fuel cells-stacks and -systems. This naturally evolves into further engineering and optimization of materials, designs, operating conditions, degradation etc.I further envision an in-situ testing ability of the operational systems in the aircraft, which could be used as another crucial data point to assess the health of the cells, the stack and the system as a whole.

I am an experienced scientist/engineer for fuel cells and other electrochemical systems with more than 20 years of experience, a leader for quality and reliability and a highly skilled, effective and versatile project manager. I have consistently lent my extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in materials science, testing and data analysis, electrochemistry, problem-solving and root cause analysis, quality/reliability and AI algorithm development successfully to a variety of projects as a team member, project leader and technical lead alike. I especially thrive in challenging multi-disciplinary projects, where my data-driven mindset and my special skills in Lean Six Sigma help to achieve the project goals. Additionally, I am well-trained in Quality and Reliability related topics (e.g. DFQ/DFR, DFSS, reliability engineering).
