And here\'s part of my firm bio:Pat Martin is an experienced employment defense lawyer and a founding shareholder of Ogletree’s Minneapolis office. He has successfully defended employers by obtaining dismissals, summary judgments, and other wins in employment lawsuits (i.e, Title VII, MHRA, ADEA, WARN, ADA, FMLA, discrimination, whistleblowing). He also defends and prosecutes non-compete lawsuits. Pat is admitted in MN, IA, and the 8th Circuit.Pat has repeatedly been named a “Top 100” Minnesota Super Lawyer for all practice areas. He’s been a “Super Lawyer” for over 15 years and a “Top 40 Employment Super Lawyer” for MN for many years. Pat is AV Rated, listed in Chambers, and recognized in Best Lawyers. The 2023 edition of Best Lawyers names Pat as a “Lawyer of the Year,” which goes to the lawyer with the highest peer feedback for a specific practice area and geography (i.e, only one lawyer is recognized for each practice area and location).After graduating cum laude from the U. of M. Law School, Pat clerked on the MN Court of Appeals. He later served as President for the MN Chapter of the FBA, the second largest FBA chapter in the country. He also coached youth hockey in Roseville.Pat played college hockey from 19••••91 at Mankato State (now a top D1 program known as Minnesota State), including on the 1991 Mavericks team that finished second in NCAA Division II and hockey and on the 1990 team that advanced to the Final Four.
