Delivery manager within Kier Highways. Working within the Area 3 M&R, NEC4 TSC contract to maintain the National high-speed network.Roles and Responsibilities- Organising projects from inception to completion- Undertaking all roles of a Principal Contractor on site. Ensuring Principal Contractor CDM duties are complied with including liaison with the Client & Principal Designer- Working with Clients, Stakeholders, Subcontractors and other teams to deliver the highest quality projects- Planning of works by supporting and enhancing an effective ECI process, bringing together the needs of client, supply chain, network team and community via creating the best plan for each scheme- Positively challenge designs, incorporating innovation, knowledge of buildability and best practice- Reviewing Client provided Scopes and CDM docs for suitability and content to allow pricing and correct planning of the works. Liaise with Client to assist in improved documentation where needed- Working within all CDM regulations and construction regulations to ensure works are completed with the highest safety standards- Working with Environmental teams to ensure all works are completed within regulation and decarbonising works wherever possible- Putting safety first to ensure that all works are delivered in compliance with all Kier health and safety policies, and standards and that everybody goes home safely- Supporting the SHE team with any required investigation, and reporting of incidents and observations- Creating and managing end to end programmes detailing the phases of delivery for each element- Risk Assessment and Method Statement reviews- Working closely with commercial teams to ensure great value for the client and fair margin for Kier- Playing a key role in project close out including final accounts, As Built Drawings and H&S Files.
