I am a civil engineer specialising in ground engineering. My experience spans sixteen years as a geotechnical designer and piling estimator, ground engineering consultant, contract engineer and site operative in civil engineering and building projects, within contractors, large and small. Key past projects: In GI: Thames Tideway; East Anglia Offshore Wind Farm; Tilbury Biomass Power Station; Heygate Estate (Elephant Park); Stanford Hall, Loughborough.In Piling: Bristol Arena; Vopak Thurrock; Osney Power Station; Stour Veiw, Manningtree; Laindon Redevelopment; Heathside and Lethbridge; Burr Hill Chase; Albion Way, Wembley; No. 85 Home Park Road, Wimbledon; Shotton Mill, Cockfosters Depot; Ravenridge - St George\'s Hill; Kilburn Park Road; Soho Square; Marylebone Road; Sloane Street; Crutched Friars; The British Museum (East Road).The design and cost evaluation of circa 4500 No. piled foundations schemes - securing 1100 No- for domestic, commercial and industrial projects including such examples as extensions, housing, steel space frames, multi storey high rises, piled retaining walls for single, double and three level basements and earthwork schemes, electrical substations; schools, universities, superstores.
