ABOUT PATRICK LAXTON

I have over 20 years of management experience within the hospitality and member service industry, including my current Assistant General Manager position at The Country Club. Progressing through increasingly responsible positions, I built a track record of quantified results, including revenue, profit, and service excellence achievements. Throughout my career, I have earned high marks on performance evaluations, commendations from upper management, and other recognition that included a Manager of the Year in 2013.VALUE OFFERED: I bring to the table a wealth of hospitality industry knowledge and broad skills to each organization and initiative, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, finance and accounting, and major guest-facing areas. Due to the diversity and range of my experience, I am able to assimilate effectively into new organizations and environments, as well as handle turnaround and start-up initiatives. I have an extensive background in handling a complex set of responsibilities effectively within high-pressure environments. As such, I am able to manage both minor and escalated employee and guest issues. Each requires a different approach, but the common denominator is that I bring order to chaos and remain calm under pressure. Most importantly, I listen intently and act decisively. I maintain a strong focus on developing and empowering employees, ensuring the absolute optimal Member Experience, and achieving revenue/profit goals. I hold employees to high standards, but I am also flexible as needed. I uphold an uncompromising focus on member/guest needs, as they are the lifeblood of the organization. And I have been successful in achieving revenue growth with concurrent cost reductions.
