ABOUT PATRICK JAGORET
Patrick Jagoret is an agro-economist for 33 years. Expert in coffee and cocoa cropping systems of West and Central Africa, he was posted respectively in Gabon (4 years), Togo (3 years) and Cameroon (12 years)(see below). In addition to several expert missions in many countries, particularly in Gabon (3 missions) and Rwanda (2 missions) where he conducted feasibility studies for the revitalization of the coffee sector, he also intervened in Vanuatu as Director of the cocoa and coffee research Station of Santo (4 years), and in New Caledonia where he was in charge of the coffee program (3 years). Specialist in small African cocoa and coffee farming, in 2011, he graduated with a PhD focused on the agronomic diagnosis and the assessment of cocoa agroforestry systems. He continues to carry out research on the functioning of coffee and cocoa agroforestry systems to explore the way to improve their yield and the farmers\' practices that drive these systems through technical innovations. He is the author of several articles on cocoa agroforestry systems and regularly asked for consultancy expertise in Africa (Gabon, Cameroon, Congo, DRC, etc.)
