Direct and oversee the staff and operations of Ashtabula County’s largest Health & Human Services organization, providing oversight in the areas of: Child Support Enforcement, Social Services, Workforce Development/Employment & Training, Senior/Elderly Services, Public Transportation and Public Assistance/Medicaid Administration. Responsible for the delivery of these services to County residents. Administer all State & Federal programs within State and Federal mandates and parameters. Oversee the Administration of a county-wide Senior Services Levy and its programming, to include: home delivered meals, personal care, chore-homemaker, prescription assistance, adult protective services, information & referral, education & wellness, and handyman services. Oversee the Administration of the County’s Public Transportation system, to include: established routes, point deviation, and non-emergency medical transportation. The total value of all programs administered equals approximately $335 million dollars.
