With 20 years of experience in leadership, financial management and operational excellence, I have navigated the complexities of global markets in various sectors including Health services, Space and Defense, Telecom equipment, and IT Services.At the core of my professional approach is growth. Helping a company achieve new levels of growth by organizing the business to make the most of its resources, developing a company’s talent, and deploying capital effectively to take successive growth steps. As CFO at Calian (CGY:TSX), I have partnered with our team to grow revenues from $250M to $800M over the last 6 years. Canadian headquartered, our growth has seen us enter both Europe and the US markets, and today have 4,500 people delivering mission critical solutions around the world. During this growth journey, I have built and led an M&A team that has executed 14 M&A deals in Canada, US and Europe. Also holding the role of Chief Development Office, I oversee the P&L for four rapidly growing divisions with combined revenues of ~$75M.As CFO at DragonWave, a dual listed public company (TSX & Nasdaq) which was a global leader in the design & manufacturing of packet microwave radio systems. Overseeing all matters related to Finance, HR and Legal. Holding progressive finance and operational roles over my 10 year tenure, the Company was able achieve over $1B in revenues by selling to large-multinational telecom companies.Key success areas across my career- Equity Financing: Multiple Canadian and US private and public equity financings with cumulative values of over $0.5B- Debt Financing: Multiple cross-border debt financing transactions- M&A: 16 deals in in Canada, US, Europe and Middle East
