I\'m a screenwriter by trade, but I have dabbled in directing, cinematography, video editing, and the culinary arts. I love telling stories and bringing my ideas to life. I want to tell stories of real people that live in magical worlds. Similar to shows like Atlanta and Community. Dan Harmon once said (to paraphrase),\"Community is like A Midnight\'s Summer Dream. The people are real, but the forest is magical.\" I want to tell stories of people that viewers or readers can relate to, that have to deal with weird, crazy, and abstract situations. Shows and movies like Seinfeld, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Scrubs, Happy Endings, Psych, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Martin, Young Frankenstein, History of the World Part One, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety have informed my comedic sensibilities and sense of humor and made me want to follow my dreams to become a tv writer. Whereas a film like Do the Right Thing have informed me as a writer and a filmmaker that tries to thread a serious social commentary through a somewhat comedic and real life story.
