About Patrick Headley
Patrick Headley has spent over ten years in healthcare technology management and has developed and led UVA Health\'s Medical Device Cybersecurity Program for the past five years. He currently leads a team of Clinical Engineers and cybersecurity professionals who serve as in-house technical consultants to healthcare leaders and providers. Through his work in HTM, he has engaged many medical device manufacturers with regard to their cybersecurity practices, documentation, and recommendations to healthcare delivery organizations. Additionally, he is a member of several national workgroups working to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the healthcare and medical device industries, including Health-ISAC, the Cybersecurity Working Group of the Health Sector Coordinating Council, and CISA\'s SBOM Workgroup.Patrick holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, he is a Certified Healthcare Technology Manager and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. He lives with his wife and four children in central Virginia, where they enjoy the natural beauty, outdoor adventure, history and culture offered by the region.
