Over the last decade, Patrick Hamilton has worked professionally within the performing arts and entertainment industry, working his way up from the box office and backstage to a senior-level administrator. He has a degree in Theatre and experience in nearly all aspects of the stage. Hamilton currently manages Monroe County’s 1200 seat Performing Arts Center. The venue features a square foot proscenium-style stage, a banquet hall, and a multi-use conference room, along with a separate 360 seat auditorium. Patrick focuses on booking, presenting, and budgeting professional touring productions and concerts. Notable touring artists that Patrick has worked with include: The TEN Tenors, Don McLean Voctave, Straight No Chaser, American Idol’s Taylor Hicks, Peter Noone, Larry Gatlin, 98 Degrees, The Fifth Dimension, and Otis Redding

   Responsible for the management of the Monroe County Fine Arts Center, a venue owned by the Monroe County Board of Education featuring a 1200 seat state of the art performing arts center, a square feet proscenium style stage, a banquet hall, and a multi-use conference room, along with a separate 360 seat auditorium. On average, The Fine Arts Center hosts 64 events/productions a year. The Fine Arts Event Coordinator is responsible for programming touring productions that offer Arts Outreach opportunities for the students of Monroe County. Acts booked and presented include The TEN Tenors, Don McLean, Voctave, American Idol’s Taylor Hicks, Jason Crabb, and Otis Redding In addition to programming, this position acts as the head of marketing, community outreach, box office, and production of the Fine Arts Center. Budgeting, negotiating contracts, and fundraising are also the primary duties of the Fine Arts Event Coordinator. This position acts as the primary contact for the Fine Arts Center, communicating with teachers, students, parents, citizens, and government organizations to provide exceptional entertainment to the community of Monroe County.
