I lead Pinterest\'s Shopping Content Mining team and act as Pinterest\'s engineering site rep. My team uses ML to extract product data from merchant webpages to power Pinterest\'s shopping catalog. We own a high scale end to end ML system-data workflows built with Spark and Airflow-High scale distributed ML inference service built in Java. This extracts data from all HTML pages crawled by Pinterest-In house labelling tools built with React, these are used by a team of labelling contractors I manage-Research and develop of ML algorithms to extract data, we have our own proprietary algorithm implemented in Java. We\'re also researching deep learning solutions using advances in NLP using PyTorch-ML Ops systems to detect, triage and track data quality errors-We measure Pinterest\'s shopping data quality using human in the loop systems
