Mr. Grobbel serves as a Senior Managing Director based in Washington, DC, and brings over 20 years of expertise in legal advisory, engagement management, and business development experience with professional services firms. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS). He holds advanced certifications in Cyber-Enabled Crimes (CEC), Counter-Terrorist Financing (C-TF), Blockchain Investigations (CFC), and Forensic Accounting. He is proficient in all phases of discovery of structured and unstructured data sources; evidence extraction, transformation, and loading through presentation. Mr. Grobbel has been engaged in dozens of regulatory and fraud investigations, as well as proactive compliance monitoring.Domestic and international matters alike, Mr. Grobbel has experience developing project work plans for complex cases and executing them in accordance with industry best practices in anti-corruption investigations, including the UK Bribery Act, FCPA, AML, and counter-terrorist financing. Before joining Ankura Consulting, Mr. Grobbel served as a Shareholder at KonaAI, a Managing Director at FTI, and a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young (\"EY\") based in Washington, DC. He performed engagement, project management, and consultative tasks for a wide array of corporate and law firm clients in anti-corruption investigations and litigation matters.Mr. Grobbel is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and an associate member of the Puerto Rican Bar Association (PBBA) and the Hispanic Bar Association (HBA).
