An attorney for more than 20years and a partner at national law firm Wilson Elser, I am regarded as an accomplished civil litigator and an attentive relationship manager who defends negligence-based claims in the real estate, amusement, construction, transportation, manufacturing and other industries. From inception through resolution, I handle matters for a long and loyal list of clients by settlement, dispositive motion, trial or mediation/arbitration, actively litigating cases in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts and overseeing cases in other jurisdictions nationwide.A significant portion of my practice involves the defense of landlords and property owners in general liability, premises security, lead paint poisoning and Labor Law claims, as well as related insurance coverage matters. I currently serve as national coordinating counsel for the managing general agent of a real estate insurance program and for a national real estate developer/manager. My practice also encompasses the defense of a major food industry distributor and other clients with transport operations and claims arising from vehicular accidents. In addition, I defend a variety of manufacturers in product liability claims. I am especially proud of my abilities as a litigation manager. I keep a keen eye on the big picture to help avoid unnecessary litigation expenses and maintain regular communication with clients to keep them apprised of our firm’s progress on their open matters.
