OEwaves serves customers in the semiconductor industry, telecommunications, quantum technologies, sensing applications, aerospace, military, defense and energy, academia and government labs. I am point of contact for customers in the US and Canada, Latin & South Americas, Australia, some Eastern European countries and most of the Middle East; I also manage 16 Asian and European distributors. Major trade shows are attended each year; visits with customers are arranged for meetings and product demonstrations. I am based in a remote office, occasionally working out of the factory in Pasadena, CA. I participate in multiple weekly meetings that align our team of Managers, Directors and Corporate Officers on company operations and P&L, manufacturing process/backlog, engineering efforts, product developments, service issues, forward-looking initiatives, sales and marketing. I work with the CEO/CTO on requests for specialized requirements and customized solutions that utilize our core technology; I meet weekly with the Board Chairwoman to discuss strategic marketing efforts and business growth. I am also the customer point of contact for all service-related matters. Applications include quantum computing, telecom, radar, fiber optic sensing, LIDAR, test and measurement for research and manufacturing. Ultra HI-Q® products include lasers with self-injection-locking Whispering Gallery Mode Resonators (Q-factors up to 100 billion) that suppress source diode noise 40 – 60 dB to deliver linewidths down to sub-Hz. Homodyne noise analyzers are offered with ultra-low noise floors for phase/frequency noise discrimination of microwave and optical oscillators, laser linewidth characterization, and intensity/amplitude measurements. Single-frequency X-band and Ka-band opto-electronic oscillators are offered along with unique, multi-band Voltage Controlled Oscillators with continuous tunability from 40 to > 110 GHz and phase noise independent of the operating frequency.
