ABOUT PATRICK FERRIE
I am currently an undergraduate in BEng Automotive Engineering at Loughborough University undergoing a year long internship at Cummins Inc. working in the Quality Department. Post graduation I desire to study an MSc Engineering ManagementThroughout my life I have been heavily involved in sport, especially swimming where at 18 I achieved an Irish National Title as well as winning a number of awards at my home club. Due to my consistent determination and work ethic I was elected Male Captain (20••••23). In this role I was able to demonstrate my ability to work effectively with younger athletes to ensure enjoyment, comfort and to drive competitive spirit during training and competitions. This further inspired me to obtain qualifications in Swim Teaching and Coaching, initially as a volunteer and later as a full member of the club staff.Alongside this I had been working as a lifeguard and leisure assistant where I have developed confidence in working under pressure in a team as well as providing costumer service support to maximise the experience of patrons at our facilities.
