An experienced strategic operations professional with background in customer-centricenvironments leading teams of up to 350, a regional footprint of 25 business units and an omni-channel business unit operation of £64 million. With a natural drive for high performance, I blend strong commercial acumen with an instinct for effective cultural leadership to strengthen organisational capability and improve operational outcomes in challenging and disrupted markets.I’m a true believer in doing better business by creating synergy across people, process and profit and I have developed a clear approach to bring this to life- I harness people potential and maximise individual contribution through genuine engagement, motivation and commitment, coaching individuals and teams to realise shared values and goals- I adopt a tenacious growth mindset to uncover opportunity, unblock issues and galvaniseways of working through effective processes, spanning project, workflow and CRM management- I apply expertise and insight to the design, development and delivery of cross- organisational transformation programmes including restructuring and redundancy, building sustainable operating models for the long termOver the past 3 years, this has enabled me to identify capital investment savings, generate productivity improvement, influence the design, roll out and adoption of a new agile workforce management tools across the entire estate – whilst delivering Customer Advocacy metrics of over 82% every month and the 2nd highest People Survey score at 79% in 2020.I love pace, scale and variety and am at my best when I am being challenged in new environments. I thrive when delivering work that matters to individuals, organisations and communities, even when the going gets tough.Passionate about culture, travel and sport, in 2018 I ran the historic Athens Marathon‍. On the infamously challenging uphill stretch between mile 12 and 18, it turned out my career had taught me more than I realised…Strategy, Agility, Focus, Perspective, Resilience. Skills that drove me to achieve an ambitious goal and I remain grateful for everything I have learnt as a leader in the dynamic, disrupted and constantly changing world of retail.I am excited to now bring these skills to a new sector and take the next step in my professional adventure (in trainers or otherwise…).
