ABOUT PATRICK CORSER
A geotechnical engineer by training, I am currently the a Technical Discipline Lead at Stantec, in Denver, CO. I have more than 40 years of technical engineering and construction experience working on mining, water resource and industrial projects world wide. I am highly skilled in engineering, water management, environmental planning, waste disposal and waste containment design, and mine remediation and reclamation. Most recently, I have led Stantec’s mining practice, managing mine development projects and closure and reclamation plans at mines in North and South America and Europe. My technical expertise includes mine closure and reclamation, both design and construction, as well as containment systems for mine waste disposal (tailings and waste rock facilities). I have been involved in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering and have also provided senior project review for Stantec\'s services to the mining industry, including environmental baseline and permitting studies, mine water supply and water resource management, civil infrastructure, environmental monitoring, waste product handling, mine closure/reclamation and remediation.
