ABOUT PATRICK COMIOTTO
I\'m a Mechanical and Biomedical Engineer currently working as a Medical Device Engineer at Luma Vision in Munich, where I\'m part of the catheter development team. Our mission? Designing and developing the next generation of imaging catheter. My role spans from hands-on R&D in the office/lab to supporting preclinical and clinical procedures in the field - a unique blend of engineering and real-world application that keeps things exciting (and never boring).When I’m not immersed in catheter prototypes or clinical setups, I’m probably somewhere out on a long run. I’m a long distance runner, currently training with the ambitious (some might say slightly crazy) goal of running a sub-3-hour marathon in 2026. I find that engineering and endurance sports share the same mindset: focus, discipline, and a constant drive to improve.
